Second half surge propels Rayne to title game

Zwolle slips past Midland in double overtime

Midland’s Griffin Hains splits defenders for a layup Friday during the Rebels’ 78-76 double overtime loss to Zwolle in a Class B quarterfinal contest.

The opportunities were plentiful for the Midland Rebels Friday evening in their Class B quarterfinal showdown with the Zwolle Hawks.

Parkview edges Lady Dogs in semifinals

Iota’s Cambri St. Andre pulls up for a shot over a defender Wednesday during the Lady Dogs’ 59-45 Class 3A semifinal loss to Parkview Baptist at the Univeristy Center in Hammond. St. Andre scored a team-high 20 points and had five rebounds, two assists and three steals in the loss.

The Iota Lady Bulldogs could not have picked a worse time to have a poor shooting night.

Stanley reflects on 2014-15 season
