Crowley boxers fair well in recent tournaments
CROWLEY – The Crowley Boxing Club has been quite busy over the last month or so, competing in several tournaments across the state.

Iota track and field standout Baylie Benton, seated, recently signed a National Letter of Intent to continue her academic and athletic career at McNeese State University in Lake Charles. Benton helped lead the Lady Bulldogs to an 11th-place finish in the team standings at the LHSAA State Track and Field Championships recently by scoring 16 points. She finished second in the triple jump (36-3) and second in the long jump (17-2). On hand for her signing were, standing from left, coaches Jacob Aguillard, Dylan Navarre and Chris Farlow.

Notre Dame held their 2nd Annual Priests vs. ND Tennis day recently at the Glady Trahan Tennis Centre, a tradition the school hopes to keep going each year. It was a fun and entertaining afternoon with wins and losses on both sides.
