CROWLEY – The Notre Dame Pios were on the verge of possibly their biggest victory of the season Monday afternoon at Miller Stadium.

Poullard helps lead Gents to Pirate Relays title

Crowley High’s Kirk Poullard scored 23 points Friday to help lead the Gents to the Kaplan Pirate Relays team title. Poullard was named the meet’s Outstanding Track Performer.

KAPLAN – A week off is apparently exactly just what the doctor ordered for Crowley High’s Kirk Poullard.

Notre Dame's Lavergne inks with Meridian Community College

Notre Dame’s Zoie Lavergne recently signed a National Letter of Intent to continue her softball career at Meridian Community College in Meridian, Miss. On hand for the signing were, seated from left, Judy Lavergne (mother), Zoie Lavergne, Randy Lavergne (father); standing, Lewis Cook (ND administrator and athletic director), Amelia and Mira Lavergne (sisters) and Dustry Collette (ND softball coach).

CROWLEY – Zoie Lavergne’s versatility has been a big plus for the Notre Dame Pioneers’ softball team this season.
