Below are the LHSAA quarterfinal contestes that will be played this week. All winners will advance to the state tournament that will begin next week in Sulphur at McMurry Park.
Class 5A
Saturday’s Division V state championship softball game between Northside Christian and Claiborne Christian tuned into a 3-hour-plus shootout.
Unlike Riverside Academy a day earlier, Holy Savior Menard elected to pitch to Notre Dame freshman sensation Maci Bergeron on Saturday in the Division III state championship game.

The Crowley High Ladies racked up 80 points Wednesday to claim their second straight regional track and field title at J.H. Williams Middle School in Abbeville. With the Class 3A Region 2 track meet winding down, the defending champion Crowley Ladies found themselves in third place, trailing meet leader St. Louis, 51-40.
