RAYNE - With the Wolves trying to improve their district slate, the Lady Wolves are waiting to begin post-season action this week.
The Notre Dame Lady Pios inched closer to perfection on Tuesday with a 10-0 beatdown of the Welsh Lady Greyhounds on Senior Night.
PORT BARRE – The Crowley Ladies improved to 21-6 overall and 10-3 in District 5-3A play on Tuesday with a 13-2 victory over Port Barre.
It was supposed to be a battle of epic proportions: The reigning Division III state champion Notre Dame Pios versus 2018 Class 2A state runnerup Welsh.
