Crowley High’s Obadiah Butler edges a Eunice competitor in 110-meter hurdles during a recent meet. Butler won the 110 hurdles, placed second in the 200 and ran a leg on the winning 4x200-meter relay team last week at the North Vermilion Patriot Relays.
With Ajah Kneeland sidelined for the week with a sore hamstring, the Crowley Ladies needed to step up their game at the North Vermilion Patriot Relays Friday.
Sparked by a pair of victories in the distance races by Rose Regan, the Iota Lady Bulldogs tallied 151 points to run away with the team title at the Tiger Relays hosted by Lake Arthur last week.

For the third time in three games, the Crowley Ladies were taken to extra frames.
But unlike the previous two contests, it wasn’t the Ladies that came through with the clutch hit.
