Louisiana’s oldest and largest agricultural festival took on the “international” moniker in 1946 when the festival resumed after a hiatus during World War II.
The International Rice Festival has chosen Thibodeaux Ag Group as the 83rd International Rice Festival Honoree.
The 83rd International Rice Festival will recognize Jake John Reiners as the 2019 Junior Farmer of the Year.
The International Rice Festival will recognize Alan Lawson as the 2019 Farmer of the Year chosen by the LSU AgCenter.
The annual Poker Rice Run will be held Saturday, Sept. 4, as a kick-off to the 83rd International Rice Festival Festival activities.
