A suspect was captured on security cameras in connection with numerous vehicle burglaries that took place in the early morning hours of Dec. 12, 2021, in Rayne.
Detectives with the Rayne Police Department are investigating numerous vehicle burglaries which occurred in the southern part of the city.

The Rotary Club of Crowley heard the plans for this year’s Krewe of Town Revelers’ Carnival Ball when Laurie Suire, ball captain, was on hand as the most recent guest speaker.
A number of routine items were approved by the Crowley City Council during their January meeting, including a number dealing with drainage and street repair work.
