Recent ceremonies dedicated the large gazebo on the campus of Iota High School to the memory of Fred Cart, a long-time supporter of the school and the community, who was instrumental in the construction of the gazebo. One year ago today, Frederick “Fred” Davoust Cart of Iota died. One week ago tomorrow, the gazebo he was instrumental in building on the campus of Iota High School was dedicated in his honor.
The Crowley Police Dept. is currently on the scene of a shooting that resulted in the death of one person.
