One man was taken to a Lafayette hospital after he was shot the morning of Wednesday, Feb. 23, behind a business in the 700 block of North Parkerson Avenue in Crowley. According to Crowley Police, officers were called to the scene to investigate transients sleeping behind the building when one threatened the responding officer.
