Annual Fall Beautillion planned by A & O 21st Century Club

New king, club honorees and special awards planned

The officers and members of the A & O 21st Century Club, Inc., are pleased to reveal the identities of the 11 young men who will be introduced into society during the 23rd Annual Fall Beautillion to be held this weekend on Saturday, Nov. 30, at the Rayne Civic Center.
This special event is scheduled for 8 p.m. with tickets currently on sale from Chairman Brian Mouton. Admission will be $10 per person and no tickets will be sold at the door.
2019 Beaus to be introduced during the 2018 festivities are:
• Caleb Arceneaux, son of Jonathon and Carissa Arceneaux and a junior at Acadiana High School;
• Obadian Butler, son of Osborne Jr. and Marcy Butler and a Crowley High School senior;
• Don Charles Jr., son of Kirsten Jolivette and a senior at Rayne High School;
• Timothy Cotton, son of Kennethia Thomas and Evelena Thomas and a senior at Lafayette Christian Academy;
• Jordan Gabriel, son of Sadie Wheeler Vital and Todd Gabriel who is a junior at Legacy Home School;
• Myles Guidry, son of Thera Guidry and a Rayne High School junior;
• Rico Price Jr., son of Tewanna Jackson Babineaux and Rico Price Sr. and a junior at Rayne High School junior;
• Jamarcus Richard, son of Michael Handy and guardian Beverly Richard who is a senior at Rayne High School;
• Leon Smith Jr., son of JoAnne Wheeler and the late Leon Smith Sr. who is a senior at Rayne High School;
• MaKai Thompson, son of Renagatha Delco and Ursula Hawkins and a Rayne High School junior; and
• Ja’Quantay Wil-liams, son of Shenna Babineaux and Don’’Tay Williams and a Rayne High School junior.
The Ronald Duplichain Community Award will also be presented during the evening to an outstanding individual who has contributed towards the good of the community.
In addition, the following club awards will also be presented during the evening’s event: Sisters of A & O “Sister of the Year” and A & O Club’s “Man of the Year.”
