Mire Fire Dept Fundraiser this weekend

The Mire Volunteer Fire Department Annual Fundraiser will be held this weekend on Saturday, March 7, at the Rayne Civic Center.
The day will begin with a Poker Run with a 8 a.m. sign-up and 9 a.m. start time.
A new event, “Color Fun Run” will be held with registration at 8 a.m. The event will begin at 9 a.m.
Delicious jambalaya will be served for $4 per bowl, along with a cake sale and other refreshments.
Between 1 p.m. and midnight live entertainment will be provided by Colby Latiolais, Horace Trahan & The Ossun Express and Dustin Sonnier.
The day’s activities will also include a raffle, silent and live auctions, fun jumps for the children and a 2 p.m. cake sale.

One of many events to be enjoyed during the weekend of the Mire Volunteer Fire Department’s fundraiser is a new “Color Fun Run” scheduled Saturday, March 7, at the Rayne Civic Center.
Join the fun for a 1.5 mile run/walk where everyone will be doused in color. Start time ia 9 a.m.
Registration is $20 per person which includes a t-shirt (same day registration will not guarantee a t-shirt). Pre-register by February 7 to guarantee a free t-shirt.
