Rayne High split district diamond results
RAYNE - Between baseball and softball action at Rayne High School, district results were split this week.
Following a loss last week in opening district action at Teurlings, the Wolves avenged that loss with a 11-7 win over the Rebels.
The win placed the Wolves at 1-1 in early district play.
During Tuesday afternoon action this weel against Northside, Rayne High claimed a win over the Vikings, improving their district slate to 2-1.
The Wolves are scheduled to meet Northside again today (Thursday) at 6 p.m. in Lafayette.
In Lady Wolves softball action, their district slate dropped to 2-4 in district play Tuesday as they fell to the St. Thoams More Lady Cougars.
They are slated to meet Carencro today (Thursday) duirng another district game that will served as “Senior Night”.
