In observance of National Black History Month, the City of Crowley recently honored African American citizens who have contributed in a direct positive way to our community, two of those leaders being Bishop Louis Dugar, who passed away on Oct. 23, 2019, and Robert Dominick, who continues to lead by example. On hand for the presentation were, from left, Marcus Dugar Sr., Suella Dugar, Daniel Dugar I, Dominick and Mayor Tim Monceaux.
At the February City Council meeting, Mayor Tim Monceaux, delivered a proclamation designating February as Black History Month.
