Reach4 Communications workers run wire for fiber internet to Estherwood City Hall. City Hall was the first entity to be turned on in Estherwood in the company’s Fiber to the Home project that is now fully underway in the village with new customers being turned on nearly daily.

Estherwood now Acadia Parish’s first FTTH community

In June of last year, the cat was let out of the bag: Fiber was coming to Estherwood.

TRUCKS DESTROYED: A number of collection trucks at the Progressive Waste plant in Duson were destroyed by fire in the early morning hours Saturday. The cause of the fire is under investigation. No injuries were reported.

DUSON - Several Progressive Waste trucks caught fire at the plant early Saturday, according to Duson Police Chief Kip Judice.
No injuries were reported.
