An effort to reduce flood risks and improve floodplain management is getting a boost from researchers at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
At approximately 9 p.m. on Saturday night, officers of the Crowley Police Department responded to a shooting that took place in the area of Dronet Street and Standard Mill Road.
