EMT Of The Year
Rayne's Hebert honored as SW La. EMT of the Year
LAFAYETTE - Each year, Acadian Ambulance recognizes exceptional medics for their tireless work ethic and dedication.
All finalists are known as outstanding paramedics and EMTs who display exemplary attitudes and provide excellent patient care.
Rayne native Tyler Hebert was selected as the regional EMT of the Year for Acadian’s Southwest Louisiana district, and was a finalist for the overall Louisiana/Mississippi honor.
Hebert has been with Acadian for almost four years, and serves the Rayne community and surrounding areas. He steps up and serves as the supply monitor for the Rayne station, ensuring necessary supplies remain stocked.
Hebert is a graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish, and earned his EMT certification through the National EMS Academy.
Operations Manager John Dubose says, “Tyler’s caring attention to detail and his willingness to always ‘do the right thing’ are his strongest attributes. He is quiet and soft-spoken, but his job performance resonates loudly.
“Every paramedic who has ever worked with Tyler looks forward to the opportunity to work with him again. He comes to work every day to try and make Acadian better than the day before.”
