Marilyn Morgan Latiolais

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Evangeline for Marilyn Morgan Latiolais, 78, who died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2019, at her home in Evangeline surrounded by her loving family.
Fr. Paul LeFleur will officiate for the services.
The family requested visiting hours be held from 4 p.m. Thursday until 9:30 a.m. Saturday. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday.
Interment will be in Sensat Cemetery in Egan.
Mrs. Latiolais was a loyal and dedicated employee of the postal service for 32 years. She retired as Post Mistress, serving her tenure at the Evangeline Post Office.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Shelton John Latiolais of Evangeline; two daughters, Krista Christina Treat and husband David, and Bethamy Faith Ardoin and husband Justin, both of Egan; two sons, Robby James Latiolais and wife Deanna of Egan, and Sheldon Chad Latiolais and wife Angela of Evangeline; four sisters, Verna Anthon of Atlanta, Georgia, Donna Morgan of Crowley, Darlene Morgan of Crowley and Carla Jan Morgan of Crowley; one brother, Murray Morgan of Crowley; eight grand chidren, Colby Latiolais, Laurin Latiolais, Brennon Miller, Bray Latiolais, Beau Miller, Jeron Latiolais, Calyssa Latiolais and Kendall Miller; and six great-grandchildren, Annie Semar, Analice Semar, Maverick Semar, Alivia Semar, Talen Semar and Ella Semar.
She is preceded in death by one son, Shanny Jason Latiolais; her parents, Harold Leo and Nellie Pryor Morgan; two brothers, Ladd and Randy Morgan; and two sisters, Wilda Green and Wanda Hayes.
Acting pallbearers will be Colby Latiolais, Brennon Miller, Bray Latiolais, Beau Miller, Jeron Latiolais and Kendall Miller.
