Crowley bank robbed
An unarmed man robbed a Bank of Commerce bank branch here Wednesday afternoon, according to police.
Police Chief Jimmy Broussard said the man entered the bank in the 300 block of North Avenue G around noon, asked for change and, when the drawer was opened, ordered the teller to empty the drawer into a paper bag.
After receiving the cash, he exited the building and began walking in an undisclosed location.
According to reports, the robber did not have a weapon.
The robber is described as a black male wearing a gray cap.
