Angie was a strong, smart, happy child who enjoyed playing with her brother and sister and playing on the farm, where her father was employed. She loved spending time with her grandmother, the late Edith Sarver. Angie attended school in Crowley and graduated from Crowley High School. Angie divorced in 1987 and worked as a medical assistant. Her three boys excelled in school and sports. She found great happiness in attending their many sporting events, often spending every night at the local area baseball parks. She became a mother again in 1995, giving birth to Andrea “Annie” Faith Guidry. Annie would grow up to be her mother’s closest friend and best friend. After a thirteen year separation, in 2000, Angie married her previous husband, Dexter Guidry again. She and her husband chose to live a satisfying life enjoying their children and grandchildren in the quiet rural community of Lyons Point.
