Anna “Tout” Mouton
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 24, at the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel of Crowley for Anna “Tout” Mouton, 89, who died at 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 21, 2022, at her home in Crowley.
Rev. Tod Finley, pastor of Abundant Life in Rayne, conducted the funeral service. Burial followed in the Acadia Resthaven Cemetery.
Visitation was observed Sunday from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. and Monday from 8 a.m. until service time.
She is survived by our daughters, Barbara Hanks and husband Arnold of Lyons Point, Betty Clostio of Crowley, Kathryn Suire and husband Mark of Crowley, and Karen Lege and husband Gregory of Crowley; one son, Greg Mouton and wife Theresa of Crowley; 15 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Loida Menard Benoit; the father of her children, Wilfred “T-Mout” Mouton; daughter, Gloria Welch; sister, Eva Mae Burleigh; five brothers, Voorhies Benoit, Oris Benoit, Joseph Benoit, Raymond Benoit and Lyman Benoit; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a son-in-law, Kenneth Clostio.
