Jane Credeur Hollier
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, Jan. 5, at 1 p.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church for Jane Credeur Hollier, 90, who died Friday, Dec. 31, 2021, at 9:31 a.m. in Crowley.
Mrs. Hollier was a native of Lafayette and longtime resident of Crowley. She and her husband had Hollier’s Grocery Store in Crowley.
She was a past president of the Ladies Altar Society at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and served as a Eucharistic Minister. She was one of the first female lay ministers of the Eucharist to serve in the nursing homes and loved praying her rosary.
Father Marshall Boulet will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 11 a.m.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Mausoleum.
Mrs. Hollier is survived by two daughters, Beverly H. LeBlanc of Crowley and Patricia Faye H. Black of Crowley; two sons, Wayne Hollier and wife Martha of Crowley, and Gregory Allen Hollier and wife Annette of Crowley; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard J. Hollier; one son, Kenneth L. Hollier; parents, Gabriel Credeur and Louisiana Begnaud Fontenot; two brothers, Howard J. Credeur and Lester Hebert.
