Marguerite Massa

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Marguerite Massa, who passed away on June 4, 2018, at the age of 97.
She was a native of New Orleans. After loosing her home in Hurricane Katrina, Marguerite moved to Crowley where she volunteered at Ms. Helen’s Soup Kitchen and Crowley Christian Care.
She was also a Pink Lady for a number of years.
After retiring from the Orleans Parish School Board as Reading Supervisor, Marguerite travelled the world. She was an avid reader. She was a parishioner of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, Thomas Massa and Elvia Girault Massa.
Schoen Funeral Home in New Orleans is in charge of arrangements.
Interment will be at Hope Mausoleum.
