Mildred LaCrosse Elkins

Private services were held April 15, 2017 at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel for Mildred LaCrosse Elkins, 93, who died April 13, 2017 in Alexandria, LA
Rev. Cullen Clark, pastor of First Baptist Church in Crowley officiated for the services. Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery.
She is survived by two daughters, Patricia “Tootsie” Barbera of Alexandria, and Carol Jo Curry of Temple, TX; two sons, Jerry Elkins (Debi) of Baton Rouge, and Jimmy Elkins (Ava) of Bunkie; twenty grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Elkins is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Glen Elkins; two sons, Ricky and Gary Elkins; her parents, Eugene and Lina Snow LaCrosse; and one granddaughter, Tanya Barbera.
