Nancy Laughlin Guidry
RAYNE - A Mass of Christian Burial for Nancy Laughlin Guidry, age 98, of Rayne will be celebrated on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 11:00 AM in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Rayne. Reverend John "Buddy" Breaux will serve as celebrant. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery No. 2 Mausoleum, Rayne.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2019 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM in Gossen Funeral Home, Rayne, with a rosary being recited at 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Monday from 8:00 AM until 10:30 AM in the funeral home.
Mrs. Guidry passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2019 in a Rayne care facility.
A faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mrs. Guidry enjoyed crocheting making rosaries. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her son, Michael Steve Guidry of Rayne; daughter, Bonnie Guidry Stewart and husband, Noble of Houston; and sister-in-law, Dorothy Laughlin of Lafayette.
Preceding Mrs. Guidry in death were her husband of 64 years, Claude Guidry; sisters, Katy Arceneaux and Effie Leger; and brothers, Eugene Laughlin, William Laughlin, and Lloyd Laughlin.
