Sheron Nyles Morgan
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 30, at noon in the Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel for Sheron Nyles Morgan, 87, who died Saturday, May 27, 2017, at his home in Crowley surrounded by his loving family.
Rev. Charles Floyd officiated for the services. The family requested visiting hours be held Monday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery.
Mr. Morgan is survived by three daughters, Karen Trahan and her husband Jeffrey of Ebenezer, Brenda McCall and her husband Wayne of Ebenezer and Sonya Zaunbrecher and her husband Todd of Rayne; two sons, Randy Morgan and his wife Kim of Jacksonville, Florida, and Wendell Morgan and his wife Anna of Zachary; two sisters, Shelby M. Fortenberry of Bossier City and Charlotte M. Hollingsworth of Sulphur; two brothers, Thurman Morgan of Baton Rouge and Hoyt Morgan of Texas; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Marguerite B. Morgan; his parents, Hoyt and Vadie Hoffpauir Morgan; one sister, Helen Daily and three brothers, Farrell Morgan, Rayford Morgan and Herbert Morgan Sr.
Pallbearers will be Jared Medus, Jonathan Morgan, Corde McCall, Cameron McCall, Blake Zaunbrecher and Steven Zaunbrecher.
The family would like to send a special thank you to the caregivers of Mr. Morgan, Paula Cormier, Sue Kibodeaux, Lee Quibodeaux and Lamm Hospice and also to Robert Aertker M.D., Michael Liu M.D., and Jeffrey Chen M.D.
