He was a lifelong resident of Welsh. He loved his job at Coushatta Casino Resort where he worked for over 20 years. He was well liked by his co-workers and customers. He was always a hard worker and a good provider for his family even after he became ill. Even putting them before himself. His biggest joy in life was his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed loading them up in his truck and riding around the farm. He always told them he was an alligator fighter and some of them still believe it.
