Tracy Gerard Monceaux

Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 11, at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home for Tracy Gerard Monceaux, 56, who died Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019, at 11:06 a.m. at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Deacon Tom Sommers officiated for the services.
The family requested visiting hours Monday from 9:30 a.m. to service time. A rosary was recited at 11 a.m.
Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Tracy is survived by one son, Timothy Monceaux of Lafayette; one stepson, Aaron Kimmell of Houston, Texas; his mother, Winona C. Monceaux of Crowley; one sister, Sherry M. Herpin of Kaplan; three brothers, Michael Monceaux of Alexandria, Rickey Monceaux of New Iberia and Ted Monceaux of Crowley.
Tracy was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Monceaux.

Wedna Duhon Louviere

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, at Forest Park Church of Christ for Wedna Duhon Louviere, 90, who passed away Monday, Nov. 11, 2019, at Southwind Nursing Home.
Rev. Jason Corder, pastor of Forest Park Church of Christ, will be officiating for the services.
The family is requesting visiting hours to be held at Forest Park Church of Christ on Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 8 a.m. to the time of service at 1 p.m.
Interment will be in Old Crowley Cemetery.
She is survived by three daughters, Joyce L. Deville and husband Danny of Crowley, Jo Anne Louviere of Crowley, and Marisa Louvierre Spell and husband Kurt of Rayne; nine grandchildren, Mia Brooks, Danny Louis Deville Jr., Sara Mouton, Heather Monceaux, Brandi Melancon, Wedna Desiree Monceaux, Wynona Ancelet, Kristen Spell and Johnathan Janssen; 15 great-grandchildren, Kaytience Deville, Taylor Deville, Aiden Deville, Jamie Mounier, Saddie Brooks, Dylan Brooks, JoDe Istre, Leah Melancon, Anthony Melancon, Kylie Bourque, Parker Bourque, Eli Bourque, Blake Bourque, Emmett Ancelet and Joshua Janssen; and one great-great-grandchild, Nola Mounier.
Mrs. Louviere is preceded in death by her husband, Alcide Louvierre; one daughter, Charlene Louvierre; one son, Dalton Louvierre; her parents, Adam and Pearl Spell Duhon; and one great-granddaughter, Maddie Bourque.
The family would like to thank the loving and caring staff of Southwind Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Vicki C. Petitjean

A Memorial Mass was held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12, at St. Edmond Catholic Church for Vicki C. Petitjean, 59, who passed away on Nov. 9, 2019.
Reverend Gilbert Dutel, pastor, was celebrant of the Mass. Con-celebrant was Reverend Gary Schexnayder.
Burial took place in Sts. Peter and Paul Mausoleum in Scott.
Vicki graduated from Lafayette High School in 1978. She also graduated from University of Southwestern Louisiana with a Bachelors Degree in Math Education. She was active in Kappa Delta Sorority and the Newman Club while in college.
Vicki was an active Theresian, an active leader in the St. Edmond’s Church Youth Group, and a CCD teacher. Through these activities she displayed unending warmth and support. Her infectious smile will be remembered by all.
Vicki, a resident of Lafayette, was the daughter of Robert Cooper and the former Betty Dowd.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Dr. Mark Petitjean; three sons, Jared Petitjean and wife Kayla, Dr. Jason Petitjean and wife Dr. Olivia Daigle, and Trey Petitjean; two granddaughters, Anna and Evelyn Petitjean; her parents; and one brother, Robert “Butch” Cooper Jr.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Michael Dowd and Alberta Hauer; and paternal grandparents, John Cooper and Mildred Rabalais.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at St. Edmond Catholic Church on Tuesday, Nov. 12, from 10 a.m. until time of service.
The family would like to thank her caregivers, Sandy Grossie, Jessica LaVergne and Cassandra Roberts, her physical therapists, Ellen Devalcourt and Tiffany Wiggins, and the staff of Complete Home Health Care for their compassionate care. Thank you to all who have sent prayers and love over the years.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Healing House, for grieving children, 106 S. Beadle Road, Lafayette, LA 70508; or to Mother Teresa Missionary Sisters of Charity, 630 Arthur St., Lafayette, LA 70501.
