George Signorelli
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for George Signorelli, 66, who died Monday, Oct. 7, 2019, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Fr. Jason Vidrine will officiate for the services.
The family is requesting visiting hours be held Wednesday from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Thursday from 8 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. A rosary will be recited on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
Interment will be in Woodlawn Mausoleum.
Mr. Signorelli is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Lucinda Landry Signorelli; two daughters, Bonnie Fontenot and husband Fred of Jennings and Mandy Signorelli of Rayne; one sister, Jeannie Zimmerman and husband John of Scott; two brothers, Johnny Signorelli and wife Cheryl of Crowley and James Signorelli and wife Patricia of Crowley; one granddaughter, Candace Murray of Pass Christian, Mississippi; two grandsons, Christopher Murray of Kiln, Mississippi and Tyler Henry of Crowley; one great-granddaughter, Charlee Rose Murray of Pass Christian, Mississippi; and one sister-in-law, Patricia Signorelli (Tony, Jr.).
He is preceded in death by his parents, Tony Signorelli Sr. and Dorothy Mary Boudreaux Signorelli; and one brother, Tony Signorelli Jr.

Fredrick Lynn “Freddie” Robinson
Funeral services for Fredrick Lynn “Freddie” Robinson, 60, of Rayne, will be held on Friday, Oct. 11, at 2 p.m. in Gossen Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne/
Reverend Sigmund Richard will officiate for the services.
Interment will follow in Elizabeth Memorial Baptist Cemetery in Branch.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Oct. 10, from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. in Gossen Funeral Home and will continue on Friday from 8 a.m. until service time.
Mr. Robinson passed away on Monday, Oct. 7, 2019, in his residence.
A native and lifelong resident of Acadia Parish, Mr. Robinson worked for many years in the oilfield, most recently as a dispatcher for ILM in Scott. He was a jack-of-all-trades and could fix just about anything.
He loved horses, spending time as a horse owner, horse trainer, and as a jockey. Mr. Robinson was an avid New Orleans Saints fan, but his greatest joy in life was spending time with and caring for his family, whom he always put first.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Debbie Menard Robinson of Rayne; daughters, Heather Credeur-Hollier of Ville Platte, and Andrea Paige Robinson of Rayne; sons, Mitchell Adam Breaux and wife Kaylah of Mire, Fredrick Lynn Credeur and wife Elizabeth of Lafayette, and Drake Anthony Robinson and wife Kitt of Rayne; brothers, Herschel Robinson and wife Leslie of Rayne, and Herman Robinson of Crowley; sister, Dorothy Billiot of Crowley; and grandchildren, Donovan Hollier II, Noah Paul Credeur, Liam Joseph Credeur, Carter Drake Robinson, Jax Anthony Robinson, Grant Breaux, Wyatt Breaux, Drayden Thibodeaux and Trinity Axtell. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceding Mr. Robinson in death were his parents, Henry “Red” Robinson and Helen Jeffers Robinson; brothers, Paul Robinson, Charles Robinson, and Ted Robinson; and sisters, Mickey Bennett, Ruth Robinson and Betty Miller.
Serving as pallbearers are Drake Robinson, Fred Credeur, Mitchell Breaux, Ronald Richard, Herman Robinson and Herschel Robinson.

Mona Hemphill Hollier
August 29, 1927 ~ October 7, 2019
A Mass of Christian Burial for Mona Hemphill Hollier, 92, will be held Friday, Oct. 11, at noon at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, with Msgr. Charles Dubois officiating.
The family is requesting visiting hours to be held Friday, Oct. 11, from 10 a.m. until time of services at Our Lady of Lourdes Church Hall (adjacent to church).
Interment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Cemetery.
Mrs. Hollier was an avid reader, opera buff, traveler, and enjoyed everything in nature including flowers, trees, animals, birds, mushrooms and insects. She had a camp on the Chene Canal and spent many a day crabbing, fishing, cast netting — putting her boat in and out of the water at the Jean-Marie Landing by herself.
She was an Official Court Reporter for Judge Bradford Ware in Acadia Parish and was also an abstractor in parishes statewide as she enjoyed traveling the great state of Louisiana.
She was involved in several historical societies and her knowledge of the state was exponential. She was a lifelong member of the Louisiana Historical Association and a longtime member of the Louisiana Historical Society in New Orleans.
Survivors include her husband Karl B. Hollier; her two sons, Scott Hollier of Abbeville and Neil Hollier of Eureka, California; daughter, Karla Hollier Youngblood of Atlanta, Georgia, and husband Gary; her grandchildren Mica Hollier Toups and husband Carl, Natalie Hollier Sonnier and husband Brandon, Summer Christine Youngblood of Jacksonville, Florida, and Nicholas Youngblood and wife Christina of Atlanta, Georgia; daughter-in-law, Susie B. Hollier; great-grandchildren including Raleigh, Andre, Avery and Phillip Toups; Meredith, Molly and Mya Sonnier; Sophia, Jaxon and Maddox Youngblood; and a very special niece, Maxine Bonnet Symmes and husband Greg of Lafayette.
Mrs. Hollier was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Hemphill Sr. and Alida Dubois Hemphill; her brother, Frank Hemphill Jr.; and sister, Maxine Hemphill Bonnet; and her son, John B. Hollier.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Louisiana Historical Society in memory of Ms. Mona Hollier, 2826 St. Charles Ave., New Orleans, LA 70115.
