Debbie Ann Butler

The Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, at The Crowley Art Association, 317 N. Parkerson Ave., Crowley, for Mrs. Debbie Ann Butler, 59, who passed away on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019, at her residence in Crowley.
Rev. Randy Dupre will be officiating the memorial service.
Mrs. Butler leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Clifford Ray Butler of Crowley; one son, Joseph Lee Funk of New Iberia; two daughters, Christina Edwards of New Orleans, and Nichol Shelhamer of Springhill, Tennessee; three sisters, Marjorie Bard of Pekin, Illinois, Tina Henderson and Rebecca Bramen, both of Peoria, Illinois; six grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Mrs. Butler was preceded in death by her parents, G.D. and Joyce Naomi Edwards; and her sister, Patricia Said.

Laurence Adam Sauer III

Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 28, at 10 a.m. at Waveland Town Cemetery in Waveland, Mississippi, for Laurence Adam Sauer III, 77, who died Friday, March 22, 2019, in Lafayette.
Fr. Jacob Matthews will officiate for the graveside services.
The family requests visiting hours Tuesday from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home. A Masonic Service will be held Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
U.S. Air Force Honors and Masonic service will be held at graveside following religious service.
Mr. Sauer is survived by his wife, Camye T. Sauer of Lafayette; one son, Robert Laurence Sauer and wife Antonia of Youngsville; two sisters, Christine Elfert of Asheville, North Carolina, and Phyllis Stevens of LaPlace; and three grandchildren, Abigail, Matthew and Luke Sauer.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Jane Thompson Sauer; and his parents, Laurence Adam Sauer Jr. and Gertrude Jorns Sauer.

Bertha Domingue Royer

A visitation was held on Thursday, March 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel for Ms. Bertha Domingue Royer, 84, of Rayne.
She passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at 2:57 a.m. at the Acadia General Hospital.
Ms. Royer was a resident of The Ellington in Rayne since 2011.
She is survived by one daughter, Carol R. Meche and husband Neal of Branch; two sons, Michael Royer of Duson and Jimmy Royer of Rayne; one sister, Eula Comeaux of Rayne; eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Ms. Royer is preceded in death by her husband, Emery Royer; one son, Patrick Royer; her parents, Amelcar and Zulmé Boudreaux Domingue; four brothers, Tony Jr., Wallace, Lenis and Leroy (P) Domingue; and two sisters, Antoinette Boudreaux and Alma Romero.
Duhon Funeral Home of Rayne was in charge of arrangements.
