Victor P. John

On Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2024, Victor Paul John, age 61, passed away in Crowley, surrounded by family.
A life-long resident of Crowley, Victor was born on April 20, 1963, and enjoyed a long career in the offshore oil and gas industry until shortly before his death.
He is survived by three children, Victor P. John, II (Sarah), Shanna John (Josh Stafford), and Lauren John, all of Crowley, three grandchildren, Hadilee Alcock, and Stellun and Dawson Stafford; one brother, Jeffrey John of Crowley; and two sisters, Shari John Hanks (Kenneth) of Crowley, and Lissa John of Houston, Texas; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Victor was predeceased by his parents, Edward A. John and Betty Jean John; and a brother, Wendell John.
A private memorial service will be held on a later date.
The family expresses gratitude to Dr. Karrie Kilgore, the compassionate caregivers of Lamm Hospice, his devoted friend, John Alexander, and the many caring friends and family who expressed love and comfort during his brief illness.
