Notre Dame’s Corine Poncho slides safely into home Saturday during the Lady Pios’ 15-0 victory over Holy Savior Menard in the Division V championship game at Sulphur’s Frasch Park. Poncho went 2-for-2 at the plate with a pair of doubles and four RBI en route to being named the game’s Most Outstanding Player.

Notre Dame’s golf team placed second at the Division III regional in Bossier last week and will compete in the state tournament on Monday and Tuesday in Carencro.
