ERATH – The Notre Dame Pios bounced back from back-to-back season-opening losses with a pair of impressive victories Saturday in the the Erath Tournament.

CECILIA – The Crowley Gents made a late push, but they couldn’t get over the hump Saturday in a 3-2 loss to Cecilia at the Bulldogs’ newly renovated home park.

That was the story for the Iota Bulldogs Friday in their Class 3A playoff opener at No. 3 seed Carroll.
