The City of Crowley recently celebrated Arbor Day. Arbor Day ceremony held at Mobley Field

Earlier this week the City of Crowley celebrated Arbor Day at Mobley Field.

The 2018 Junior Livestock Show and Sale grand champion steer was shown by Emily Zaunbrecher, far left. The animal was purchased by Cart Cattle Co., represented by, from left, Keagan, Taylor and Glenn Valdetero.

Kameron Thibodeaux, left, showed the grand champion hog, which was purchased by Chester Faulk, right.

The grand champion goat was shown by Brailie Cormier, left, and purchased by Gatti’s Pizza, represented at the auction by Quentin Zaunbrecher.

Sale ends annual Jr. Livestock Show

The hard work of some local 4-H and FFA members paid off, literally, yesterday as the youths sold their market animals at the close of the 2018 Junior Livestock Show and Sale.
