Sale concludes Jr. Livestock show

It had a much different look from auctions in the past, but Saturday’s Acadia Parish Junior Livestock Sale marked the successful conclusion of a four-day show for parish 4-H and FFA exhibitors.

The City of Crowley has joined in honoring the 4-H Program at LSU’s Agricultural Extension Agency by proclaiming the observance of National 4-H Week October 4-10. The 4-Her’s present for the signing of the official proclamation presented Michelle Puissegur, 4-H Hall of Fame inductee, with flowers prior to the reading of the document by Mayor Tim Monceaux.
