Lt. Gov. Billy Nungesser and Louisiana Main Street have to announced that 23 Louisiana communities have been designated as 2020 Accredited Main Street America™ programs.

Restoration and renovation of the Mull Bulding, situated between the Jack Miller Law offices on the left and Crowley City Hall on the right, is set to begin within the next couple of weeks. Owned by Ed and Cheryl Habetz, the façade of the building will be restored thanks, in part, to a Louisiana Main Street grant in the amount of $10,000.
Another historic building in downtown Crowley will be restored thanks in part to a grant from Louisiana Main Street.
The Crowley Main Street Program has received national accreditation for 2020.

Members of the Crowley Main Street Board of Directors under went a five-hour training course Saturday which included a presentation by Ray Scriber, Louisiana Main Street Director.
Promising to be “the biggest one yet,” the 11th annual Taste of Crowley will be held on Thursday, Nov. 7, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Le Grand Hall in the heart of historic downtown Crowley.
