The Church of Christ in Crowley, represented by Rev. Randy Cobb, far right, was also presented with a Daniel Ellis Byrd Community Service Award by the Louisiana State Conference NAACP for its work as an organization. Congratulating them was Chapter President Walter Andrus, center.

The National Association for the Advancement of ColoAred People Acadia Parish Chapter 6299 held its regular monthly meeting on Monday, Nov. 7, at the Church of Christ in Crowley. Proctor, Aisha Ali, Myrtle Cain, Betty Johnson, Audry Spencer, Cynthia Dominick; standing, Bobby Guillory, Jennifer Harmon, Robert Dominick, Eddie Scott, Rev.
