Library continues to host summer story hours

The Acadia Parish Library is once again hosting weekly story hours for children this summer.
The story time is ideal for children in pre-K through fourth grade.
The schedule is as follows:
• Crowley - every Wednesday at 10 a.m. through July 17;
• Church Point - every Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. through July 16;
• Estherwood - every Monday at 2 p.m. through July 15;
• Iota - every Wednesday at 2 p.m. through July 17;
• Mermentau - every Tuesday at 2 p.m. through July 16;
• Morse - every Monday at 10:30 a.m. through July 15; and
• Rayne - every Thursday at 10:30 a.m. through July 18.
Weekly free children’s movie matinees are as follows:
• Crowley - every Thursday at 1:30 p.m. through July 25;
• Estherwood - every Monday at 3 p.m. through July 24;
• Mermentau - every Thursday at 1:30 p.m. through July 25;
• Morse - every Friday at 1:30 p.m. through July 26; and
• Rayne - every Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. through July 22.
All of these events are free and open to the public.
