APSB gets crucial 'yes' for millage continuations

Acadia Parish voters got the "necessity" message regarding the school board's millage continuations.
Two propositions for a combined 20.38 mills received a resounding "yes" from constituents.
Though unofficially turnout was low -- roughly 13 percent -- those who did vote gave each proposition a "yes" by 64 percent and 63 percent, respectively.
