On Thursday, members of the Crowley Police Department, the Crowley Optimist Club and the Rice Festival Association gathered at the police department to announce their finalized plans for protecting children during this year’s festival. Among those in attendance were, kneeling, Stacy Prejean. Standing, from the left, were Chad Monceaux, Rice Festival Association; Cathy McDougle, Crowley Police Department; Crowley Chief of Police Jimmy Broussard; Shirley Bratton, Optimist Club; and Chad Gibson, Crowley Police Dept. Standing in the door of the bus is Officer Wayne Perry with the Crowley Police Department.
