The Acadia Parish Junior Leaders Club has announced its slate of club officers. From left are Sergeant-at-Arms Ryleigh Oestriecher, Community Resource Development (CRD) Chairperson Whitney Kibodeaux, President Branson Melancon, Vice President Ava Arceneaux, Secretary Annalise Arceneaux and Reporter Laura Thibodeaux. Kayla Segura and Megan Sarver are the Acadia Parish 4-H Agents. 4-H Junior Leaders is a secondary club offered by 4-H giving 7th grade through 12th grade students many opportunities to learn how to be leaders. The goal of the Junior Leader Club is to create bold leaders that serve the community. Each year, the club chooses a new community service project. This year the club chose to focus on the military. One way the club gives students leadership opportunities is by conducting officer elections.
