More downtown beautification work was underway on Thursday as crews installed supports for an awning or balcony at the Mull Building at 421 N. Parkerson Ave. Constructed in 1900 by merchant Robert Mull, the building is probably best remembered as the Bruce Theater. In 1940, A.J. Broussard converted the building into a theater, which he ran until 1956. The building was most recently purchased by Ed and Cheryl Habetz.
