This weekend’s SideWalk Saturday event will include the kick-off of the “Stories on Main” program, a joint venture between Crowley Main Street and the Acadia Parish Library. RAYNE - Police Chief Carroll J. Stelly stated that Trey J. Prejean, 27, of Rayne, a suspect in a Monday afternoon shooting, turned himself into authorities Tuesday.
Rayne High School was on a temporary lockdown Wednesday morning when officials were alerted to the possibility of a student possessing a weapon on campus.
