Valerie Myers, left, Crowley Tourism Director, and Shanna Monk, International Rice Festival Coordinator, show off the new banners that will decorate North Parkerson Avenue “from the railroad tracks to the interstate.” The banners tout Crowley as the home of the International Rice Festival, which will kick off Thursday, Oct. 20, in historic Downtown Crowley. the new banners are a joint venture between the City of Crowley and the International Rice Festival.
