Neil LaGrange

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 4, at 2 p.m. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel of Crowley for Neil LaGrange, 68, who went to meet our Heavenly Father surrounded by his children at The Ellington in Rayne on Thursday April 24, 2025.
Burial will be at a later date in Woodlawn Cemetery of Crowley.
Deacon Byron Winn will be officiating for the services.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Sunday, May 4, from 11 a.m. until time of services in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel of Crowley.
Neil was well known for his willingness to help anyone and fix anything, giving him the name of the Lyons Point Handyman. He was a loving father and an amazing grandfather.
He was born and raised in Crowley, where he started his own business, Neil’s A/C and Heating.
He leaves behind his children, Jude LaGrange (Brandy), Hanna Hebert (Tyler), Lauren Breaux (Kevin) and Nella LaGrange, all of Crowley, the mother of his children, Cynthia Thibodeaux; his grandchildren, Madelyn, Carter, Lilee, Bella, John-Tyler, Malaki and Jaxon; his siblings, Diana LeLeux of Crowley, Nina Landry (Glenn) of Houston, Texas, Raymond LaGrange (Carol) of Rayne, and Lisa Broussard (Rickey) of Lafayette; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Neil is preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Nella LaGrange; one brother, Kenneth LaGrange, and one sister, Lynell LaGrange Melancon.
