Jerome “ZEB” Williams

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 5, at 11 a.m. at Holy Temple Church of Deliverance for Jerome “ZEB” Williams, 57, who died Dec. 23, 2018, at Acadia General Hospital.
Interment will be in West Crowley Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Jan. 5, at Holy Temple Church of Deliverance (824 W. 14th St.) from 8 a.m. until time of service.

Karen Ann Hebert

A Mass of Christian burial for Karen Ann Hebert of Jennings will be held at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Jennings on Friday, Jan. 4, at 1 p.m. with Father Charles McMillin officiating.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Jennings on Thursday, Jan. 3, from 2:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a rosary recited at 6 p.m. Visitation will resume on Friday, Jan. 4, at 8 a.m. until the time of her Funeral Mass at 1 p.m.
Karen will be laid to rest in Tee Mamou Cemetery following her Funeral Mass.
Pallbearers will be Felix Hebert, Trey Hebert, Matthew Bertrand, Ryan Crochet, Stuart Daigle and Ryan Blanchard.
Karen was born on Jan. 22, 1961, in Wytheville, Virginia, to Garnett BeCraft and Joline Bralley BeCraft. She was called to her heavenly father on Dec. 29, 2018, at the age of 57.
Karen worked as a dealer for the Golden Nugget Casino. She liked gardening, reading, cooking, baking, as well as fishing and crabbing. Most of all, she loved the time she was able to spend with all of her family and friends, especially her boys.
Karen is survived by her mother, Joline BeCraft of Wytheville, Virginia; her father and step-mother, Garnett BeCraft (Paulette) of Lonoke, Arkansas; her two sons, Felix Hebert of Jennings, and Trey Hebert of Jennings; her mother-in-law, Doris Hebert of Evangeline; her half-sister, Jamie BeCraft of Austinsville, Virginia.
Karen now rejoices in heaven with her brother, Emory BeCraft; and her father-in-law, Richard F. Hebert Sr.

Calvin Wayne Vincent

Funeral services for Calvin Wayne Vincent, 68, will be held on Saturday, Jan. 5, in the Duhon Funeral Home - Crowley Chapel with Brother Gerard Morgan officiating.
Visitation in the funeral home chapel will begin on Friday, Jan. 4, from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. and will resume on Saturday at 8 a.m. until just prior to the chapel service time.
Interment will follow the service in Johnson-Hanks Cemetery in Morse.
Mr. Vincent passed away on Monday, Dec. 31, 2018, at Memorial Hermann-Southeast Hospital in Houston, Texas.
Calvin was born in Gueydan and raised in Morse. He moved to Crowley for the next 35 years and for the final 12 years has been a resident of Texas City, Texas.
Graduating from Midland High School in 1969, he was employed by Enterprise Transportation for 35 years and was an OTR driver for a total of 40-plus years until his retirement.
Calvin was known for “never meeting a stranger” and was also a faithful member of The First Church of God in Texas City, Texas.
Mr. Vincent is survived by his wife, Rosemarie Vincent of Texas City, Texas; daughters Bridget Cormier of Morse, Donna Hanks and husband C.J. of Morse, and Ramona Vincent of Crowley; step-children, Yvette Villanueva of Angleton, Texas, Alex Hernandez of Chicago, Illinois, and Eddie Sahinian of Los Angeles, California; grandchildren, Myra Hanks, Maddox Hanks, Xavier Villanueva, Zechariah Jammer, Timothy Higgins, Zoe Spurlock and Layla Rose Higgins; great grandchildren, Wyatt Jeansonne and Tatyn Simon; the mother of his children, Evelyn Vincent; his mother, Anna Vincent of Morse; sister, Elaine Olivier of Crowley; brother, Bufford Vincent of Lafayette; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Mona Vincent; father, Alton Vincent; sister, Gloria Leger; brother, Kenneth Vincent; grandson, Bradley Cormier; and step-son, Manuel Hernandez.
Pallbearers will be C.J. Hanks, Maddox Hanks, Bruce Simon, Philip Myers, Keith Olivier and Xavier Villanueva.
Honorary pallbearer will be Randy Leger.

Wilda V. Broussard

Wilda V. “Nanny Mae” Broussard, 94, of Crowley, passed away peacefully on Friday, Dec. 28, 2018, at Heritage Manor Skilled Nursing Facility in Hammond.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucien and Edmoza Vincent; her loving husband, Elias Broussard; and siblings, Percy, Mildred and Gladys.
She leaves behind two sons, Harold Hungerford of Sulphur, and Randy Broussard and wife Sue of Maryland; two step-daughters, Phyllis Kibodeaux and Rafaela Broussard; her granddaughter, Nicole Hungerford Richard and husband Kelly of Hammond; and great-grandson, Garrett Richard.
A small private service for family and close friends will take place at Duhon Funeral Home - Crowley on Friday, Jan. 4, with Rev. Jason Vidrine officiating.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. with a Liturgy of the Word Service in the funeral home.
Interment will follow the chapel service and will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
