Mike Claude Freeman

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 2, at 10 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church for Mike Claude Freeman, 57, who died Dec. 22, 2018, at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette.
Services will be conducted by Father Paulson.
Interment will be in South Crowley Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine Johnson Freeman of Crowley; one daughter, Elyssa Freeman of Natchitoches; and granddaughter, I’Lynn Freeman of Natchitoches; two children and grandchildren that he loved as his own, Taneisha Johnson and Darrell Glenn Milson III of Crowley; and grandchildren, Taylin Breaux and Da’Laysia Milson of Crowley; two brothers, John (Carolyn) Freeman of Mansfield, and Andrew (Christine) Freeman of Rayne; three sisters, Cecelia Freeman of Crowley, Elsie Vincent of Memphis, Tennessee, and Connie Freeman of Crowley; a special mother-in-law, Deloris Nixon Johnson of Crowley; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lourine and Sebastian Freeman; his late wife, Lonza Freeman; two sisters, Sebastian “Bass” Freeman and Margaret Nancy Freeman; two nieces, Daphne Freeman and Ursula Jones; and one nephew, Vernon Freeman.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Jan. 2, at St. Theresa Catholic Church from 8:30 a.m. until 9:50 a.m. A rosary will be recited at 9 a.m.
