Johnny L. Buller
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Jan. 20, at 2 p.m. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley for Johnny L. Buller, 68, who passed away on Monday, Jan. 16, 2017, at 4:06 p.m. at the Post Acute Specialty Hospital of Lafayette.
Rev. Len Whitaker, pastor of the Pentecostals of Crowley, will be officiating for the service. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Crowley.
The family has requested the visitation to be held on Thursday, Jan. 19, at 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley. Visitation will resume on Friday, Jan. 20, at 10 a.m. until time of services.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara M. Buller of Crowley; one daughter, Hannah Buller of Crowley; four sisters, Elaine Frith of Mississippi, Judy Roosa of Iota, Jackie Daigle of Iota and Henrietta Buller of Lake Charles; and five brothers, Harold Buller of Jackson, Louisiana, Jimmy Buller of Iota, Francis Buller of Lake Arthur and Huey and Gerald Buller, both of Crowley.
Mr. Buller was preceded in death by his daughter, Elizabeth Buller; his parents, John and Laurice S. Buller; and one brother, Terry Buller.

May, Stanford to wed April 30
Byron and Renae Stanford of Iota are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Katelyn Claire Stanford of Baton Rouge, to Jonathan Isaac May of Baton Rouge.
The bride-elect, formerly of Iota, is the granddaughter of Patricia Stanford of Egan and the late Alton Stanford, Lenora and Conrad Meaux of Lafayette and Denise Gravot of Iota and the late Frank Gravot.
Katelyn graduated from Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri, in 2015, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre with a minor in psychology. She is currently pursuing a cosmetology degree at Vanguard College, a Paul Mitchell Partner School, in Baton Rouge, with a planned graduation date of February 2017.
The prospective groom, formerly of Bigfork, Montana, is the son of David and Deborah May of Bigfork. He is the grandson of Lynwood and Carol May of Salinas, California, and the late Douglas and Patricia Erickson of Great Falls, Montana.
Jonathan is a 2015 graduate of Evangel University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in film with minors in French and international studies. He is presently employed as a teller with Business First Bank in Baton Rouge and as a digital media freelancer.
The couple will be wed Sunday, April 30, during a 3 p.m. ceremony at the Rip Van Winkle Gardens along the shores of Lake Peigneur on Jefferson Island.
April 22 wedding date set for Blanchard, Hargroder
Donald and Mary Blanchard of Midland and Tony and Darlene Hargroder of Central are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their children, Hollie Elizabeth Blanchard and Christopher Michael Hargroder, both of Baton Rouge.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Eugene and Florence Blanchard of Midland and the late Rhuel and Gladys Hoffpauir of Rayne.
Hollie is a graduate of Midland High School and Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, where she earned a bachelor’s degree with honors in management-human resources. While at LSU, she was a member of Delta Sigma Pi and Phi Kappa Phi. She is presently employed with Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Baton Rouge.
The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Herbert and Nora Hargroder of Crowley and the late Alvin and Jerry Hanks of Baton Rouge. He graduated from Parkview Baptist High School before studying management at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. He is currently employed at Hamilton Relay.
The couple will be wed on Saturday, April 22, in Scott.
They will reside in Baton Rouge.
