Timothy James “Good Time Goudeau” Goudeau

CROWLEY - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, Nov. 2, at 10 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church for Timothy James “Good Time Goudeau” Goudeau, 59, who died Monday, Oct. 21, 2024, at 7:15 a.m.
Father Mark Odoguje, pastor of St. Theresa Catholic Church, will officiate for the services.
The family requests visiting hours Saturday from 8 a.m. to 9:45 p.m. at St. Theresa Catholic church. A rosary will be recited at 9 a.m.
Burial will be in the West Crowley Cemetery.
Tim is survived by two sisters, James Etta Breaux and Becky Smith (Phil), both of Crowley; nephew, Antonio Smith of Crowley; his companion, Mary Nell Spencer of Crowley; three stepchildren, LaShona Spencer, Gregetta Spencer and Gregory Spencer Jr., all of Crowley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Goudeau and Mary Lucy Breaux Goudeau; one sister, Tangie Louise Breaux; one nephew, Tywon Thorn; one stepdaughter, Shontell Spencer; maternal grandparents, Louis and Mattie Breaux.
Pallbearers will be Murrell Normand Jr., Stanford Milson, Ryan Landry, Kevin Nickson, Tariq Abdul Rasheed, Daniel Joseph, Rodney Rogers, Dexter David and Troy Brown.
Honorary pallbearers will be Greg Sam, Patrick Small, Phil Allen, Antonio Smith, Dexter Small, Michael Washington and Dennis Lewis.

Gladdie Joseph Breaux

Rayne - Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 1 p.m., at a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Gladdie Joseph Breaux, 73, who died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2024, at Ochsner Acadia General Hospital in Crowley.
Interment was in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2, Mausoleum in Rayne.
The Very Rev. Brent L. Smith,VF of St. Joseph Catholic Church, was the celebrant of the Funeral Mass and conducted the funeral services.
Gladdie was retired from the Rayne Police Department after 34 years, achieving the rank of sergeant. He was a devoted husband and father, leaving behind a void in the lives of those who loved him. Gladdie was known for his unique ability to connect with everyone he met.
In addition Gladdie devoted five years to the Daily Manna. His legacy of service will be remembered always.
Survivors include his wife, Nora Lavergne Breaux; sons, Gladdie Breaux Jr., Donald and spouse Crystal Breaux, and Tony Paul and spouse Maggie Breaux; daughters, Gwendalynn Marie and spouse Morris Charpentier, and Lelia Lopez; one brother, Donald and spouse Pam Breaux; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Gladdie was preceded in death by his parents, Mavie and Bernice Marie Gaspard Breaux; sisters, Betty Ann Faul, Norma Jean Meche and Lelia Jean Moore; brothers, Steven Lee Breaux, Johnny Ray Breaux and Russell James Breaux.
Pallbearers were Gladdie Breaux Jr., Donald Breaux, Tony Breaux, Michael Breaux, Dillon Lopez and Gene Viellion.
Honorary pallbearers were Steven Lopez, Donald Breaux Jr. and Lexen Smith.
A Rosary was prayed Tuesday at 6 p.m. in Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne.
The family requested that visitation be observed in Gossen Funeral Home on Tuesday, Oct. 29, from 10 a.m. until time of services on Wednesday, Oct. 30.
