Daven Andre Dailey

Graveside memorial services are pending for Daven Andre Dailey, age 77, who passed away on Monday, Aug. 18, 2025, at 7:50 a.m. at Southwest Louisiana War Veterans Home in Jennings.
Daven was a native of Iota and lived most of his life in Egan. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, having proudly served his country in the Vietnam War. He was awarded a Purple Heart medal in recognition of his bravery and selflessness.
Daven was employed with Texaco/Chevron for many years as a safety compliance officer.
He was a devoted husband and father who will be remembered for his humility and commitment to those he cared for most.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Joslyn Dailey of Egan; one daughter, Kerrie Boudreaux of Egan; and one granddaughter, Torrie Boudreaux.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Willis Dailey and the former Leatrice Guilbeaux.
Daven’s family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Lamm Hospice and the Southwest Louisiana War Veterans Home for their outstanding care and kindness.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home of Crowley.
